Biography: Melanie Melia

Melanie Melia is a 30-year veteran of the natural products industry. Natural foods is not just her professional focus, but her lifestyle. She is in this business because she’s passionately committed to helping herself and others improve their quality of life thru healthy dietary and lifestyle choices.

Melanie got her on-the-job training at a natural foods coop in Boston in the mid 1970s. She then opened a natural foods store on Long Island, New York that she owned and operated for 22 years. She spent several years working for Whole Foods Market and Mrs. Green’s in the New York area.

Wildfire Sales was founded in March 2000 as a full-service natural products sales brokerage company. Wildfire represents small- to mid-sized manufacturers who make products found in a typical natural foods retail store. The company is committed to excellent customer service using results-driven tools.

For the past 25 years, Melanie has been teaching natural foods cooking classes, not to mention cooking for her five happy, healthy vegetarian children.
